Small group interventions are designed for persons who are actively engaged in risk behavior(s) that could result in HIV/STD/Hepatitis infection, or transmission, and are interested in learning strategies to change this behavior.
Going beyond basic HIV/STD/Hepatitis information, these groups provide an opportunity for participants to accurately assess their HIV/STD/Hepatitis risk and their readiness to reduce or eliminate this risk.
Understanding behavior change as a process, participants are supported to consider a spectrum of strategies they can employ to realistically reduce or eliminate their risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV/STDs/Hepatitis.
Single session small group interventions are limited to 10 participants. Multi-session interventions may have a maximum of 15 participants enrolled.
