Outreach encompasses all prevention efforts to reach out to members of our community, where they live and recreate, in order to raise their awareness of HIV/STD/Hepatitis risks and services. Outreach is an unstructured prevention service that “meets people where they are at.” The goals of outreach are to help individuals evaluate their risk and to engage individuals in the level of prevention services that will best meet their needs.
