Co County Wellness Services hosted their annual brunch and concert on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Stirling Guest Hotel. Those in attendance were treated to a wonderful brunch and outstanding entertainment.
Tenor Diego Silva, 22, from Mexico City, entered the Curtis Institute in 2008 and studies voice with Marlena Kleinman Malas. Mr. Silva won three prizes at the Carlo Morelli National Voice Competition, including first prize. He provided a fine program of opera classics and well as some more contemporary ballads. He was accompanied on the piano by Bonnie Wagner, a faculty member at Curtis Institute since 2006. In addition, Bonnie enjoys a career as a freelance coach and accompanist in Philadelphia, PA.

On Sunday, November 14, 2010 over 70 people enjoyed the annual brunch and concert at Stirling.
Our performers, students at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA were Amalia Hall, Violin and Alexander Ullman, Piano.
Ms. Hall, from Auckland, New Zealand, entered the Cutis Institute of Music in 2008 and studies with renowned violinists Pamela Frank and Joseph Silverstein. She performed the Sonata for Solo Violin Op. 27 No. 6 by Ysaye.
Mr. Ullman, born in England, entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2009 and studies with renowned pianists Robert McDonald and Ignat Solzhenitsyn. He performed the Ballade No. 4 in F minor by Chopin.
Together they performed the Sonata Op. 12 No. 1 in D major for Violin and Piano by Beethoven and the Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor by Schumann.

Close to 100 people attended another successful Concert & Brunch at The Stirling on Sunday, November 15, 2009. The Recital Program was given by Elizabeth Fayette, Violin and Andrew Tyson, Piano both students at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. The Institute was founded in 1924 to train exceptionally gifted musicians for performing careers on the highest professional level.
We are most grateful to Kaj Skov, our host at Stirling, Tom & Anne Moll for their sponsorship of the event and Tom & Sandi McCarthy for their work to make this event such a huge success. Plans are already underway for next year’s event.
